FastBridge Learning (which evolved out of The Formative Assessment System for Teachers (FAST) is pleased to announce the addition of Quinn Montgomery to the FAST team. He will serve as the General Manager for FAST, with responsibility for the FAST technology, school support and business development.
“FastBridge has grown so much over the last year, it is great to have someone with Quinn’s experience to help lead us,” said Ted Christ, PhD, Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota and the Director for FastBridge. “He will be an addition that will provide a great deal of benefit to our schools.”
Prior to FastBridge Learning, Quinn was the General Manager for Advanced Informatics, LLC, a University of Minnesota start-up that specialized in on-line assessments for medical education. “I am so pleased to be working with FAST,” said Quinn. “FastBridge has a core of great people, great schools and great assessment tools. It is really exciting to have the opportunity to positively impact so many teachers and children.”
FastBridge Learning is a suite of assessment tools designed to make assessment highly efficient and instructionally relevant. Assessments are designed for screening, progress monitoring, and program evaluation. FastBridge uses technology to automate the scoring, data entry, analysis, and reporting – so teachers spend less time engaged in assessment and more time engaged with instruction.
